The Crossvines brought new development and excitement to Montgomery County, Maryland, with a restaurant, special events venue, winery, and custom crush facility. Nestled in one of the nation’s leading agricultural reserves, the 388-acre property intertwined new ventures and hospitality offerings with Maryland’s rich farming history. The restaurant, Farmhouse bistro at The Crossvines was awarded USA Today’s @10Best New Restaurants of 2024 and the Golden Fork Award in Golf Inc magazine. The Crossvines is a picturesque and celebrated destination, conveniently located adjacent to the Poolesville Golf Course.

The mission of The Crossvines was to create economic opportunities and investment in the agricultural tourism, event services, and wine-making industry sectors of Montgomery County and specifically the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve. The Crossvines featured acreage developed for viniculture research, education, training, and promotion in partnership with educational institutions. The development was led by the owner, Montgomery County Revenue Authority, and developer Weller Development Partners.
