Sagamore Spirit Distillery

Sagamore Spirit Distillery is a world-class waterfront distillery located in Baltimore’s Port Covington neighborhood, directly off I-95 and a short drive from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The 50,000 square foot urban distillery sits on a five-acre campus that includes a processing center, water tower, visitors center, tasting rooms, and event spaces. It produces approximately 1.5 million bottles annually and welcomes more than 100,000 visitors in a normal year, offering waterfront events, classes, tours, and experiences that attract local and global tourism.

Sagamore Spirit is restoring Maryland’s proud history of distilling rye whiskey as the first distillery to distill, barrel, age, bottle, and distribute rye whiskey in Maryland since Prohibition. The state-of-the-art facility includes nine 6,500-gallon fermenting tanks, more than two miles of piping, and a 40-foot, mirrored-finish copper column still – the only one of its kind in the world.
