Grand Bahama – December 3, 2024 – Weller Development Partners and Pegasus Capital Advisors, developers of Six Senses Grand Bahama, remain steadfast in their commitment to community engagement in Grand Bahama. On Saturday, November 16th, Weller and Pegasus were proud to be a part of the remarkable annual Grand Bahama Children’s Home (GBCH) benefit.
Weller Marketing Manager, Ashley Collins, represented the development team at the event at The Stoned Crab in Freeport, Grand Bahama, and presented the GBCH with a donation of $10,000. The evening presented another opportunity to connect with the organization and witness firsthand the impact it has on the lives of these resilient children.
The GBCH continues to serve as a vital safe haven for children in the Northern Bahamas who have faced significant challenges. Following its remarkable reconstruction after Hurricane Dorian, the home now encompasses five buildings, complete with residential facilities, a washer and dryer facility, a playground, and a garden area. The dedicated staff at GBCH remain committed to providing not just care, but a nurturing family environment for the children.
